I was born in Dundee in 1987 and came to Edinburgh to study fashion in 2005. While at college a lifelong passion for illustration became a real desire for a career in fashion. I have always taken a personal, nostalgic approach to fashion design, emphasising the instinctual over the formal. ECA helped me develop this, teaching me the necessary skills and helping me to create a style and method of fashion design that allows me to realise my personal vision.

Masters Collection

Recreating landscapes onto a garment through creative cutting and print collaboration. Miniature organisms such as lichen act as a catalyst in my process and defines the colour palette.I’ve aimed to create a wearable collection of garments that mask and reveal the body simultaneously. Using landscape as a motif, I have built a new environment

for the body using layers of images. Each print has been manipulated to create depth as you look through this new abstract landscape.
