It all began with an antique hearth rug upcycled into a bag. From there began a journey which resulted in a passion to create perfectly unique and timeless pieces that each tell their own story.
Sourcing these rugs has been a creative mission in itself – they have been given away, bartered for, found threadbare and deep with dust and sadly have become increasingly difficult to get hold of. Most of the fragments used are 40 – 150 years old, hand-woven in wool originating from Persia.
