The new SS 2018 collection by Zuzana Veselá is the epitome of elegance and playfulness expressed in most feminine cuts made of natural fabrics in colours of the spring sky.
In her 2018 spring/summer collection, Zuzana captures the sky in this time of the year: various shades of joyful blue and white turn to grey and black of the clouds announcing a storm. The voluminous sleeves and large ruffles mirror the shapes of clouds too. Some dresses are decorated with less striking yet sophisticated details. “Dresses and shirts in this collection are loosely inspired by the fashion of the early 20th century. I was most fascinated by the shapes and patterns of the underwear and undergarments”, Zuzana said.
The spring collection includes almost 20 models: skirts and fitting tops, rather minimalistic shirt dresses and tunics but also more elaborately decorated dresses with striking sleeves and frills. All designs carry Zuzana’s unmistakable thumbprint: clean timeless cuts of natural materials create versatile garments that can be easily combined and layered. Every woman can find her own original, unique style with them.
The current collection, like the previous ones, reflects Zuzana’s personality: “I am a mother of two little boys. When creating this collection, I wanted to design a dress that would invite me to wear it every day, on any occasion, be it a business meeting, an afternoon coffee with a friend or a playdate with my kids.”
