Thandi Masuku

Thandi Masuku is a contemporary womenswear fashion designer. Her early interest in fashion led her to pursue her studies in the United States where she obtained a Bachelor of Science degree in Fashion Merchandising from Western Michigan University. She also earned a Post-Baccalaureate Certificate in Fashion, Body & Garment from the School of the Art Institute of Chicago. Thandi’s unique design aesthetic is inspired by contemporary and modern art, as well as her rich Ndebele cultural background. Her work reflects a perfect melding of her African heritage with contemporary design.
