A TENTATIVE ATELIER

was established as a design team earlier in 2012, the studio based in Hong Kong now in the meanwhile the teammates are based in between United Kingdom, Milan & Hong Kong. The collection is presented in Paris fashion week starting from the first season, SS2013.
The label aims to explore artistic handicraft elements and innovative forms and silhouettes on garments combining with neo-vintage effect. The label does not only focus on fashion, it is a platform to encourage and sustain the spirit and tradition in craftsmanship to create new form.

LABEL PHILOSOPHY
There is a story in each collection. The collection is inspired by stories with themes based from literature intersecting with conceptual art, graphic, music, cinematography & film, etc. in order to fully develop all aspects throughout the process of design.
One of the purposes is to discover a new deconstruction detail combined with tradition craftsmanship and neo-romantic style originally. Creating a unisex, timeless look that is defining the coexistent generation for both masculine and feminine wardrobes.
Each product is carefully considered, from the materials, to the classic craftsmanship, such that every item reminds a sense of purpose, understated elegance and poetry which products are wearable, romantic, poetic and above all, quietly fascinating with own personality.
It is more a philosophy; that the spirit is better than the body.
It is to explore a new form and fabrics in the fashion industry.
