Shuxuan Li is a knitwear and womenswear designer based in NYC. A recent graduate of the Parsons MFA Fashion Design & Society program.
As a fashion designer, she see fashion as a unique way of self-expression, a powerful strength to unities cultures, and revive the consciousness about preserving and redefining the beauty of traditional heritage. Rather than emotionless commodities, fashion as for her is an unique art practice, by exploring the balance between the rationality and sensibility, she is trying to merge the traditional aesthetic and philosophy in a modern vision.
