Daddy’s short track suit, the sartorial combinations worn
in occasion of family pictures, the attitude to fragment, to
recompose, to move akin images near in order to create new
tales. My degree collection sinapsi intends to be a project
that reflecs on my familar background and on my identity as
a designer.
Synptic connections are the modus operandi ideas are
gathered through: contactless transitions of informations,the
starting point for the design of suspended elements that
affect both the structure and the fitting of the clothes.
I have always considered sketchbooks as my personal place
of experimentation, an intimate area where to unload ideas
that used to stack up in my mind through operation such
as collage and obsessive intervention on images. The aim
is to create something totally new out of something that is
conceptually exixting already.
Fabric manipulations refer to the concept of clothes obtained
through the split and the recomposition of different
ideas in the physical dynamics of the collage.
The result is a refined collection both essential and somehow
sculptural, where sportswear echos melt in a complex
system of volumes and graphic elements.
