Sanskriti Sharma is a fashion enthusiast, born and brought up in the industrial town of Faridabad, India. Her father being a textile engineer and mother a boutique owner, she was strongly influenced by both of them. During her school, she discovered her passion for Fine Art, Dance, Theatre and Poetry. Her curiosity for art and passion then took her to Central Saint Martins, University of Arts London where she pursued a foundation diploma in Art and Design, specialised in Fashion Design. After London, she went to the fashion capital, Milan to pursue her undergraduation in Fashion Design. Being a poetess at heart, she always takes inspiration from her own poetries, for her fashion collections which give another dimension to her clothes. During the pandemic, she also published her first book of poems called- Moodboard. In 2021, she founded her clothing brand- ‘Maati’,designed in Italy, based on producing premium quality garments made sustainably and ethically in India.
She is an avid learner, who enjoys the smallest of happiness, always strives to be better in her work and an artist who lets her emotions out through different mediums to other people's hearts.She has always carried her Indian roots within her no matter wherever life took her.
