I was born from a French mother and an Indian father from Bengal, and grew up in the suburbs of Paris. After studying Graphic Design at Ecole des Arts Decoratifs in Strasbourg (France), I moved to London to study at Central Saint Martins and graduated in Textile Design in 2018.

After graduating, I came back to Paris and worked four years at Jacquemus researching and developing textiles.
In early 2022, I decided to focus entirely on my personal project, Rescha.

The brand’s DNA is based on my obsession for traditional craftsmanship and my willingness to shed more light on unknown, but so talented artisans. This reinforced during my different travels to India when I visited workshops in Kolkata, Jaipur, Kullu, Mumbai or Delhi. putting the makers in the front raw is what I am most willing to do with Rescha.

Identity, multiculturalism and artisanship are the foundations of the collections, with fabrics at the core of the creative process. Each garment is made through conscious manufacturing, supporting local artisans in India and in France. We also have a strong priority to ensure minimal waste by working with existing materials and dead stocks.
