Re:Cut The label is a Swedish designer brand turning left-over materials and second-hand garments into designer collections, extending the lifespan of the fabric and the garments. we would like to inspire women to dress to express themselves as well as their values.

We are a slow fashion brand and as a response to the over-production that currently is a large issue within the fashion industry, we are besides using pre-existing resources, producing either small quantities or, mainly, on-demand. Our denim production is made locally in Sweden, by production studios that share our values and where the people making the garments work in safe and good environments. We love the craftsmanship and the creativity that goes into crafting each and every piece in our collection and we hope that you will love our garments as much as we do.

RE:CUT THE LABEL CORE COLLECTION

In my first collection, I have revisited some of my first fashion memories from days now gone buy, yet creating styles that look very much into the future. There were nostalgic moments remembering that first patchwork suede skirt I inherited from my mum in my early '20S which she in her turn had purchased in the early '70s. And that first fringe jacket I ever created while playing in an all-girl rock band, dreaming about a rock´n´roll future. I soon realised my limited potential in that area and went on to focus on and exploring fashion, which was more my forte. this collection consists of a few selected styles crafted from left-over material and pre-loved jeans, and as much as patchwork is a traditional craft, taking care of, and repurposing the resources we already have is very much a thing for the future.
