QUINCAMPOIX, Luxury womenswear designed by Jennifer Rodríguez-Selden, presents the launch collection – No. 1.

Jennifer says - “No.1 for SS16, is inspired by the monochrome scribbles of Cy Twombly and Clare McCardell’s capsule collections of the post war era. The collection offers classic pieces with a quirky twist in the fabric combinations and graphic lines.”
The collection's monochrome palette combined with neon pink adds zing to the mix. Jennifer experimented with fabrics by combining textures in black or white. There are surprising fabric combinations such as plastic and spotty organza. The collection has a graphic element such as vertical printed and bound seams on the outside of a skirt emphasising the lines of the seam. A line of pearl buttons down the back of an oversized swingy white shirt are charming and quirky.
The collection is relaxed and easy to wear, it offers mix and match pieces such as the wide leg sailor trouser in indigo denim, as well as tailored pieces such as the little wool and lurex white jacket.
A defining element of the Quincampoix brand is the designer’s love of pattern cutting and her attention to detail which can be seen in a tailored dropped sleeve or a pleat at the elbow of a pokey coat. The finish details such as bias binding on seams on the inside of the garment underlie her belief that clothes should be as beautiful on the inside as out. The fabrics are sourced from British and Italian mills and the clothes are produced in London by skilled machinists.
Jennifer designs for the modern multi-tasking woman who wants clothes that are both practical and chic. Many of the pieces in this collection can be worn from the design studio or boardroom to after work drinks and at the weekend. The designer has created clothes which have a greater fluidity, enabling women to invest in pieces that they can enjoy on many occasions.
