Pikiel is a one of a kind brand of clothing and accessories that borders on the edge of Japanese contemporary fashion stylised with a bold attitude of urban attire, all while pushing the limits of popular fashion. Pikiel works with a variety deep tones. Black and grey shades create the unique climate she is known for. The streamlined shapes and harsh edges in Pikiel’s designs create the illusion of volume and body. „Fascinated by the shapes, I want to distort the body shape and build it anew.”

Metropolitan Samurai- masters diploma edytorial

The collection of clothes "Metropolitan Samurai" presents a modern vision of a Japanese warrior. Traditional Japanese clothing forms are mixed here with the modern avant-garde and street look nonchalance. All clothre, spatial form thates can be freely composed into different sets. Each outfit creates an austere, spatial form, that builds the silhouette from the scratch, while the decorative function is taken over by prints. The materials which are used for the collection are: cotton canvas and cotton knit. Emphasising the universal character of samurai outfits, I created a unisex collection. The collection is kept in the colour scheme of black, grey and white, which emphasizes the form of garments and prints. It is a slightly more daring version of pret-a-porter clothes and it is designed for people of all ages, with a defined taste and style.
