New york was her first love, before finding her heart in asia, british born chinese designer Pauline Cheung moved herself between continents for the past 20 years. her love of architecture and curiosity of cultures led her to asia to re-discover her heritage and more loves somewhere between hong kong and Shanghai.

Both urban necessities and tropical locales have influenced her label Peony Rice initially created as a starting point to preserve the works of artisan groups in South East Asia with an aim to bring awareness of beautiful cultures with a social concern for their well-being.

this in turn ignited an energy to build a brand that can do good and inspire others. the joys of being able to create bespoke and made to measure womenswear and accessories has led to the natural progression into bridal and occasionwear collections.

All of her creations are created with a woman that has a sense of self and cares about her choices. she has determination and an edge. she moves elegantly while embracing her femininity with styles that embrace her body with no fuss and a little ease.
