NEW GODS ON THE BLOCK
It’s like a halfway faded memory of a never-ending evening in late August. An evening, when the last game is played until mere silhouettes of the players are left to blindly roam the court. It is still that evening, when shouts and whistles weren’t hustled out by ringtones and beeps of messenger, an evening when REAL people ruled the court and number of bits per second haven’t yet described the strength of the connection between them. As the evening fades and world finds itself on the edge of changes, when dawn of unknown first morning comes, molded by plastic, decorated by touch screens, and tied by the waves of internet, the players of the evening shall stay bold and fearless. Tomorrow they’ll still stay real, tomorrow they’ll be the new gods on the block.
