In these rapidly changing times “NFP : new form perspective” fosters the concept of transition, transformation and evolution. Designer Gail Travis has carefully engineered a collection of geometric knitted sweaters and accessories with the unique ability to turn upside-down, backwards, and creatively mold, and layer securing a signature sustainability of each garment. NFP supports a more socially conscious and resourceful lifestyle through appreciation of highly designed, multi-functional product. Rooted in timeless architectural shapes, New Form Perspective’s goal is to encourage each individual to play with the NFP styles in order to create their own personalized NEW FORM from their PERSPECTIVE.
Additionally, the knitted sweaters “N” are complimented with Gail Travis’ signature hand felted dresses and tops “F”. Each silk and jersey design is hand felted in Gail’s Beacon, NY studio creating one-of-a-kind and custom ordered items. Lastly, NFP offers basic jersey foundation dresses, leggings and tanks “P” for an easy way to build an entire look from head to toe; collectively presenting a unique line of architectural building blocks.
Designer Gail Travis resides in Beacon, NY. She works out of her storefront studio at 457 Main Street in Beacon, which offers a window into her design process for passer-bys. After working in the high-end fashion design world in NYC for the past 10 years, for companies such as Calvin Klein, Shelly Steffee, and Vera Wang, she has fatefully been guided to design her own brand free from mainstream trends. Her collection is inspired by her surroundings, personal interactions, experience of movement, and architecture and sculpture.
