Nikki Wirthensohn Yassemi is the designer and creative director of Narces, a Toronto-based womenswear label specializing in elegant eveningwear and after five attire. Known for her special occasion ready-to-wear and custom dresses and gowns, Wirthensohn Yassemi’s international background (she was born in Austria and spent
time in Iran and the U.K. before moving to Canada) brings a unique flair to her ethereal creations. With no formal fashion training (an MBA graduate), the self-taught
designer was surrounded by fashion at an early age as her mother worked with esteemed British tailor to the Royal Family, Victor Edelstein, renowned for creating
