Since 2001 Klaus Mühlbauer designs hat collections in collaboration with designers Nora Berger and Madeleine Nostitz, supported by a distinguished hat maker and millinery team in the Viennese factory. The most dedicated artisans and the best materials sourced worldwide come together to produce an exceptional quality.

Spring Summer Collection "Wien / VIENNA"

"VIENNA". Vienna is many things, maybe even too many. But above all it is a “melange” – a blend of different influences and style directions, which, when mixed together just so, result in something typically Viennese. This is a fine balance between simplicity and opulence, patina and gloss, art nouveau and social housing, superficiality and skilful understatement. And generally between east and west, north and south – and we are right at the epicentre. Exuberant, completely over the top and then again there is total clarity. Decorations, frills, fraying or their entire absence – this is the Mühlbauer Spring/Summer 2020 collection. For the campaign we photographed the Viennese art collective “Gelatin”. The “Good Bad Boys” of this international art establishment modelled for us on the set of their recent film “Stinking Dawn”.
