minor miracles is a singaporean print & textile label. helmed by dawn bey, dawn has always had a love for prints & colour.

after completing a degree in business in singapore, dawn moved to hong kong to study fashion design at savannah college of art & design where she merged her love for prints and design together.

since returning to singapore, she worked at local brands before launching minor miracles, a brand where she creates original exclusive prints and drafts the clothes in-house too.

mm.1: new wave

New wave is inspired by the idea of a cold current joining the warm sea;
a fresh draft of spring air that breaks the stale winter silence.

This was inspired by the work of Carolina Spencer, a florist known for modern ikebana botanical arrangements. Unlike typical romantic floral arrangements, her flowers were arranged in an architectural composition where shapes and forms of the flowers became central element in the carefully considered arrangement.

Her botanical arrangements consist of atypical flower choices like anthuriums, mixed in with fruits and acrylics in organic shapes. This inspired our colour choices and shapes in our prints.

This inspired the prints in the collection, that were supported by the designs. Both prints and designs were drafted and sampled in-house, in singapore.
