Izmir born designer Mihrican Damba, had BA Degree on Fine Arts at 9 Eylul University Fine Arts Faculty, Izmir (1999-2003). She worked as a head designer at one of the leading menswear label DAMAT TWEEN in Istanbul (2003-2005). She moved to London for a higher educating. After completing a course at Central Saint Martins , she did a Master Degree course at London College of Fashion (2006-2008). She worked as a trainee at Alexander Mcqueen Design department at the London Office while she was studying MA. After completing her MA course at LCF , Damba set up her business in London in 2009. She set up her second company in Izmir in 2013. She gives fashion consultancy services and works as a custom made designer and maker under her own brand , named Mihrican Damba.

Escapism 2008

The designer gets her inspiration for the escapism collection from the people who are struggling in life and want to escape from the realities of life. The collection tells the story about how to find your own way to get back to life again by discovering yourself... Mihrican Damba created her tunnelling technique that has light at the end... This collection is Mihrican Damba's MA Degree Collection while she was studying at London College of Fashion on MA Fashion Design & Technology. The Collection showcased at the Royal Academy of the Arts in 2009 and at Shanghai Fashion Week.
