Michael Hekmat

Michael Hekmat graduated from the renowned Istituto Marangoni in Milan with honors. Majored in contemporary women’s wear and accessories.
Michael started working at Hugo Boss before he went to university, as manufacturing intern at the age of 18. Further on gained experience at Vivienne Westwood in London.
His professional path developed along with his creative positions at Narciso Rodriguez and Proenza Schouler in New York and resulted in an engagement at Giambattista Valli in Paris.
In 2011 he launched his own brand in Warsaw.
His designs have been acknowledged by Vogue Italia and the annual Vogue Talents issue as well as several leading fashion magazines. He is also the winner of the ReImagine 14 Design Challenge held by C&A.
Additionally, he collaborates with various polish brands as design consultant.
Precision and devotion are key words to Michael’s work ethics. Profound love for illustration and constant thrive for inspiration are most significant aspects of his design philosophy.
Sophisticated feminine silhouettes rooted in costume history, innovative fabrics and refinishing techniques are inherent elements of each and every collection.
His Clients are conscious and sensible, aware of their needs and strengths, open to new and original designs. His clothes express his aesthetical vision of beauty and grace.
