MATTEO BIGLIARDI

Italian born menswear designer Matteo Bigliardi lives and works in Brighton, UK.
MATTEO’S STYLE HAS BEEN SHAPED BY HIS LIFE IN THE UK AND HIS ITALIAN HERITAGE.
He launched his eponymous fashion label at London Fashion Week 2010 with Fashion East man.

after taking some years off to develop his design skills in the industry, matteo returned to his own label in June 2018, showing his ss19 at the bfc designers showrooms during london fashion week mens.

His is a luxury brand for the romantics, gentle and vulnerable men, mixing elegant tailoring, exquisite fabrics and impeccable details.
the collections, entirely made in Italy, are an expression of flair and individual style without being loud.

Taking inspiration from 2 famous quote, the classics are reinterpreted to bend the rules of conservative menswear, challenging masculinities by infusing sensitivity, sensuality and vulnerability. Signature pieces are the outerwear and tailoring.

Matteo graduated from the BA and MA in menswear at Central Saint Martins under the legendary tutorship of the late Prof. Louise Wilson OBE.

His experience varies from fashion, to cinema, to architecture. He curated an archive project for the late Zaha Hadid, assisted costume designer Arianne Phillips on the movie: “Kingsman: The Secret Service” and worked as a menswear designer at Gianfranco Ferré, Pringle of Scotland and Tom Ford.
