Maria Berman is a young fashion designer based in Tel Aviv. She was born in Khabarowsk in the far east of Russia and moved to Israel in 1991. Berman graduated from the prestigious Shenkar College of Engineering and Design in 2005. After graduating AND WORKing a bit in the local INDUSTRy. she established her eponymous label at 2007. Maria is one of the prominent young professionals active nowadays in Israel. She produces her clothing SEASONALLY.
All production is made LOCALy and EXPRESSED IN HIGHest quality FINISHES.
The main line is composed of a soft & WRINKLED-TAILORED high end DAY-to-night WEAR.

A woman can reinvent herself during the day due to the versatility of the garments,looking polished and modern, without compromising on comfort or aesthetics.
One of the label's significant aspects is its search for new and innovative materials. The fabrics used vary fromex perimental fabrics to more common fabrics which are accompanied by traditional and innovative techniques. This
pairing of uniqueness of fabrics and advanced treatment, results in a garment which is enriched with both heritage
and fantasy.
The other line is more exclusive, classed as an alternative evening wear. "œHand couture" represents the poetic side of the label. Maria is committed to creating clothing from an ethical standpoint, utilizing, whether possible, renewable or reclaimed fibers for some of her "Hand couture" garments. So that each garment is charged with the emotional memory of its materials. The manual process of treatment brings out and emphasizes the individuality in each piece.
