Louise Marcaud is the founder of the eponymous brand LOUISE MARCAUD.

She launched her first “upcycled” ready-to-wear collection made in France and made from second-hand raw materials in February 2020.

Since her childhood, she has liked to dress and hunt in thrift stores, she spent her time in her grandmother's attic collecting old clothes to customize, cut them, transform them.

With this desire to be in a circular economy and to breathe new life into clothes, it was only natural that she began to make outfits from second-hand clothes that she seams and assembles differently.

afterwards, she wanted to develop these creations with a range of ready-to-wear clothes using second-hand fabrics from "maison de couture".

The cuts and colors are minimalist.
There are many inspirations to travel or to little-known cultures and civilizations.
The designer wants to transcribe the idea of a spiritual trip in search of freedom and purity.
She also has a lot of retro-futuristic inspiration from the 70s, especially in movies from that time which often show a chaotic future.

Through her creations, (and being aware of our environmental crisis) she adopts an optimistic vision of the future of our society.
