Litichevskaya

„Sputnik“ SS20 collection is inspired by space travel images which fist appeared in the 1960s. 2019 is also the 50 years moon landing anniversary.

Using stylized images Litichevskaya has found her inspiration in the Soviet space program and introduced the flying Sputnik as the leading design motif of her collection. The cuts, large pockets and color scheme of the overalls in the collection allude directly to the clothing of the cosmonauts, with neutral gray color and striking contrast color details in blue, yellowish-orange and red.
All parts can be worn by both sexes - the sizes will be adjusted according to the order. For Litichevskaya, sustainability and handwork are also very important, which is why the choice of materials is usually based on natural materials. The screen printing is done by hand with an artist in a Berlin studio with non toxic water-based colors. The small quantity, which is only made after ordering, does guarantee no overproduction.
