I try to exist outside the normal fashion cycle. The range is continuous, there is no spring summer, autumn winter ranges. Designs are developed and when fully realised, then become available to order. Working this way I concentrate more on the creative process and offer a unique product which has true integrity as a piece of design. Fashion is after all a form of art, and art isnt really art when its dictated by the constraints of retail.
The shoes are produced entirely by hand in a studio in Hackney East London using bespoke shoe making methods. The uppers are cut and stitched by hand on a sewing machine then hand lasted. Heels and soles are all cut, built and finished by hand, the whole process from beginning to end taking approx 3 days per pair (depending on the design). Only high quality natural materials are used. This is a truly artisanal product.
