The “KEPP showroom” has started out as a unique and unusual formation in Hungary in the fall of 2009 by four young and aspiring designers, Anett Hajdú, Teréz Havancsák, Szandra Hofstädter, Adél Kovács. The name “KEPP” refers to a round collar, women’s shoulder cape.
The “KEPP showroom” is not only a group of artists but a functional studio and showroom that is elegant and aims for exceptional precision in quality. The synergetic efforts of these designers are a rarity in the existing fashion industry and may become an inspiring example. They joint their forces of power, knowledge, skills and tools in order to overcome the well expected hardships of ambitious young designers. The “KEPP showroom” by the four Moholy-Nagy
University of Art and Design (Budapest) graduate students was originally created to provide a functional working space: where working together promotes and inspires keeping individual styles; and on certain projects they may come up with ideas as one, fulfilling each other’s visions. Even though the members of KEPP are specialized in different materials, within the showroom they conduct individual work or joint projects; they all focus on quality, innovation and originality. The designers create works that reflect their delicate sensitivity to fashion, their ever expanding technical skills. These creations will easily stand the glazing eyes of the international market if fashion.
