My creation has always been based on my search of identity. It is a matter of beauty in simplicity together with innovative and challenging pattern cutting. I believe in the power of black. Left home at the age of 14, studied art and music at public schools in England. At the age of 21, with degree in language and literature, offered a place to study art and art history and work as a professor’s assistant at one of the top private universities in Wisconsin, USA. Here I met one of the most influential professors in my life, an artist herself, who later lead me to step into the fashion world where I always longed to be.
