Kat Valo is the designer behind the daywear brand Katyusha. Originally from Finland, Valo currently runs Katyusha from Bali, where all of the brand’s pieces are hand-crafted by local artisans. Before Katyusha, Valo worked as a stylist and couture buyer for HH Sheika Moza of Qatar. With Katyusha Valo wants to provide effortless daywear made using luxurious materials and high-quality craftsmanship. In addition to the brand’s ready-to-wear, Valo also hopes to carve out a niche for affordable custom-made and one-off daywear in a market which currently offers women few options between high couture and Café de Presse items.

KATYUSHA is laid-back, easy to wear luxury. We work prime leathers, hand-perforated suede and fine European fabrics into exclusive, effortless clothing and accessories. All our pieces are made by hand by skilled independent artists and artisans. Some of our hand perforated and hand carved items take many days to create – we are proud to support these traditional methods while giving them a contemporary aspect.

We offer totally unique, one-off clothing and accessories and provide our clients with the opportunity to customise any of our pieces.
