Kalina Filcheva

I am jewelry designer based in Sofia, Bulgaria. I have an interest in working and experimenting with different metalsmithing techniques, combining the traditional techniques and processes with new technologies, precious and alternative materials. I love colors and bold shapes, I find the combining of different materials provoking. I often use color and form to reflect an emotion and a state and to pass that feeling on to the wearer. I am inspired by nature, organic forms, everything that surround us – outside or inside, the hidden world of the body or mind.
