Kajsa Willumsen was born in the south of Sweden in 1990, in a town by the sea called Helsingborg. She has always been fascinated in the construction of things – how they are made and why. Her interest in fashion and art was cultivated during her teenage years, when she started to experiment and express herself trough different mediums. Her technical and problemsolving abilities were further developed when she opted to take her Bachelor Degree in Fashion Design at The Swedish School of Textiles in Borås, Sweden. She graduated in 2018 with the work ‘Dressing[room]’. Before Borås, Kajsa studied Pattern Construction at The Academy of Cutting and Tailoring in Malmö, Sweden between 2014 and 2015.

Kajsa specializes in conceptual design, where she likes to question social norms as well as challenge the boundaries of the structure of today’s society. In 2017 Kajsa completed an internship at MAISON the FAUX, where she got the opportunity to work closely with the design team as well as participate backstage during their show at New York Fashion Week.

Kajsa was selected to participate in both Vogue Talent and CTF Award 2018. She is currently located in Gothenburg, a city on the west coast of Sweden.
