Juliya Kros

JULIYA KROS is a brand of women's clothing created by designer Julia Perekrestova in 2015. After the debut show of the SS2016 Collection, the brand has become a regular participant of the Ukrainian Fashion Week.

Julia Perekrestova is creating the intellectual fashion, which aesthetics is timeless and devoid of any ornamentation. Emotion and idea are conveyed through asymmetry of the cut and deconstruction. In her collections, the designer reveals a new sense of female sexuality – hidden from view and unspoken, thus showing how far smart the woman may be and how magnetic that may be.

Experimenting with the cut in search of new silhouettes, the designer uses the technique of Japanese modeling, being inspired by clearly expressed forms in sculpture and architecture. Restrained colors and monochromism make it possible to emphasize the versatility and complexity of the design. The use of black and white colors is part of the brand’s philosophy. According to the designer, only these colors do not distract from the main idea and emphasize the clarity of lines. The distinctive feature of Juliya Kros clothing is the presence of parts in the cut allowing of various transformations in the model. This is how the concept of the brand works: in co-creation with the consumer, it suggests that they are given the opportunity to develop creative fantasy and understand the item of clothing in their own way.
