Jelena Stefanović is a costume and fashion designer with a long experience in the field, and has successfully worked in both branches. She has designed costumes for opera, drama, ballet, television and film and has her own fashion label. Her fashion style is distinguished by clear lines, discreet elegance and sexy femininity. The design’s focus is stated in its minimalistic approach, use of the highest quality natural fabrics & immaculate craftsmanship. The complex cuts are exquisitely designed, and the silhouette is free from any over-the-top detail that might draw the viewer’s attention away from the simple harmony, while the discreet sex appeal ensures that the wearer of these items feels very feminine, relaxed and comfortable. The main inspiration for the collection was found in architecture, shades & light.
Inspired by the works of Santiago Calatrava, especially L’Hemisferic , the distinctive eye-shaped construction designed for the city of Arts & Science in Valencia, Spain. The building’s unique architecture, as well as its fascinating setting was transported into the collection’s tailoring, its cut & the detailing. While the colors of the concrete, steel & water surrounding the architectural piece provide the main colors of the entire collection.
