JAMES KELLY

A recent graduate of London's Royal College of Art, James Kelly explores aspects of traditional garments but with the distorting them in his strangely romantic vision. James' use of colour and texture is something that lies within his aesthetic as a designer as well as the aspects of deconstructing and reconstructing the norms, which comes together in beautiful and new pieces.

James has a strong vision which he wishes to emit to the world evoking emotion with his work. Emotion is something that drives his work and is an element that always appears in his research and work. James kelly is about beautiful work, beautiful ideas yet it all comes out in strange, ambiguous luxury clothing that is surrounded by ideas and emotion.
