Nobody finds me attractive is a manifesto against the pattern of female beauty accepted and imposed by society. It is a personal message to the version of the self that looks in the mirror, not liking what it is reflected. It is based on the concept of the Japanese Kuzosu art, the art that, through painting, sheds light on the stages of decomposition of the human body, especially the female body, from the moment of death itself, to the final stage of decomposition of the bones. The transposition of this type of art is done by manipulating the material, to suggest the decomposition in the fourth stage of the body, the first layer of skin being disintegrated, leaving the blood visible. At the same time, the intervention on the fabric reflects the state of anxiety, anguish and sadness that the self feels when the physical beauty felt and perceived are not at the same level. The idea of bodily and facial modification constitutes another layer of my collection, suggested by the exaggeration of volumes in certain pieces and the stylization of the project being inspired by the phase after facial aesthetic surgery. The color is cold and dull, like the idea of death. The textures are inspired by sculptors who access this theme of human decomposition, for example Aron Demetz. "nobody finds me attractive" follows the era of the 2000s, the y2k trend that involves the lowest possible waist, dropped, micro skirts and the use of denim.
