haus COUDEYRE was founded by Marc-Philippe Coudeyre and Jan Verheyenin 2010. This is a label whose creative positioning marks it out as 100% Belgian.

A graduate of the Antwerp Royal Academy of Fine Arts, Marc-Philippe finds inspiration for his designs in his expatriate childhood that saw him growing up in all four corners of the globe.

Marc-Philippe and Jan form an excellent partnership and their complementary skillsets allow them to nurture and develop their design label that goes from strength to strength with each season. Designers and dreamers incarnate, they also have the business acumen to make these ephemeral creative qualities reality, and their work has become an inspirational standard-bearer of Belgian design. Intuitive and perceptive in their selection of creative partnerships, they have developed an impressive network of dynamic and unique talents around them.

Striking a chord with the modern and stylish woman of today, their designs are born out of a creative DNA that delights as much in the joyful celebration of colour and fantasy as in the rigorous demands of the modern woman, whose practical needs in wearing their clothes are fundamental to the design.

haus Coudeyre promotes a refined style that adapts itself to the multiple challenges of its wearer’s daily life. The label is proud to have a strong creative identity and only the highest quality European products and craftsmanship go into the making of the clothes.

The label is represented in five countries: Belgium, The USA, Hong Kong, Russia and the UAE. The company is developed through exhibition and sales in showrooms, supported by a representing agent.

SS 2015 - "INK"

This season a gentle maritime breeze blows: delicately embossed material, jacquard embroidered with flowers, lurex that echoes both the shimmering ocean and the luminosity of women. This summer an orange sun glows in the indigo sky. The entire collection, embracing a coherent vision, is held together by the prints of the yellow sun sinking into the dark depths of the night-ocean.

The 2015 Spring collection, “Ink”, tells the epic tale of a woman on the high-seas, evoking Moby Dick – the wild and strange beast that feeds off the squid that defend themselves with their ink. The interpretation of this story on the material uses ivories, blacks, and overtones of the orange of the setting sun after a storm. Beautifully-cut shirts... Easy to mix-and-match tops... Comfortable sweatshirts... Stormily dramatic dresses... And airy blouses that cradle the body. The embroidery, tentacles and voodoo brocade – the ship crosses the Galapagos and the Darwin’s islands to find the feathers of the bird’s of paradise – delicately decorate the prize pieces of the collection. And the insolent splashes of ink? They of course are the insouciant touches the “haus COUDEYRE” woman adds in the privacy of her own dressing room.
