Fernanda Ormeño was born and raised in Lima, Peru. She graduated from Colegio Franklin Delano Roosevelt, receiving the International Baccalaureate (IB) diploma. In 2010, she moved to New York City, to study Fashion Design at Parsons The New School for Design. In 2014, she concluded her senior thesis collection and graduated receiving her Bachelor of Fine Arts.
Fernanda's designs encompass women's ready to wear and handbags, in which she focuses on detailed fabric explorations, treatments and beading which make each and every piece unique.
She has gained experience in public relations, administration, sewing, pattern making, design, print and embroidery by interning with designers such as Orietta Fernández, Stella McCartney, Zac Posen, Vera Wang, Elizabeth and James, 3.1 Phillip Lim.
