A graduate of London College of Fashion Middlesex University, Emmie McCourts has focused on building her brand mainly around tailoring and outerwear. Influence is often drawn from Architecture and sculpture, with Calatrava and Naum Gabo being of particular fascination. Their ability to create imposing work which is strong and powerful whilst being balanced with a softness and fluidity is something Emmie carries through to her silhouettes.

Throughout the collections, Sharp and clean tailoring is key, with the use of panelling to contour and define the female form. The combination of woven wools and leathers has been carried through to each collection, to become a signature of the Emmie McCourts brand. The recent addition of Jersey has expanded the brands story,

The recent addition of jersey has evolved the brands identity further. The tops have been designed to easily compliment the modern woman’s wardrobe, with comfort and ease being the main focus. The soft jersey and oversized shape has been balanced out with long skinny fit arms and striking contrasting panels, allowing comfort and style to easily be combined.

Each piece is made in England, and this combined with impeccable fit and the use of the finest quality fabrics is crucial to the brands ethos.
