Introducing Bathsheba
A series of garments made using carefully selected materials which I have saved, salvaged, hand dyed and crafted into one off pieces in London.
Bathsheba originated from the British wool I collected from Dorset fields and hand felted into the Jacob/Poll Felt Jacket and Wrap, matched with straight cut Brighid trouser of Irish Linen. Inspired by this process, I was excited to continue working with an array of natural fibers. These varied from silk to cotton and bamboo, which I individually hand dyed using naturally occurring colours including beetroot and turmeric. Soft to the touch and safe for the environment these pieces are an example of how I mean to go on.
