Dofamine

This collection has become the first step after my return to Belarus: for 7 years I have been working and studying in Europe. I wanted to make a sartorial study of ethnical costume of my country and make it current, relevant. Once I came across a book on Belarussian ethnicity full of pictures of peasants: men posing with shovels and women with milk buckets. All of them wore these full sleeves, which looked very rich to me and contrasted with their surroundings. I based the whole collection on those sleeves, thinking of what would my mum or my grandma or myself wear, I tried to make this silhouette relevant for different generations. I specially went to Italy to source fabrics, managed to find the best quality production possible, so that pieces look beautiful on the inside as well as the outside and the fit is impeccable.
