Dilek Kaygusuz, first studied millinery in London; then she completed Marmara University Faculty of Fine Arts, Textile design department with high honor degree. After working for several firms in textile sector, in 2011 she founded her own brand company “dLk kAy”. “dLk kAy” has a sense of style in which craftsmenship is appreciated and luxurious materials like leather, silk are used frequently. “dLk kAy”’s sleek facades, sharp corners and modern lines reflect its futuristic features.

“Equilibrium”, the latest collection of Dilek Kaygusuz, really looks like it’s going to draw heavy attention for its bold and clean-cut futuristic lines.
Dilek Kaygusuz worked meticulously for her brand “dLk kAy”. In her collections Dilek Kaygusuz used geometric forms and assymmetric cuts with skill. The modern clean-cut lines diffuse into cosmopolitan and urban ladylike figures.
“Equilibrium” is taking inspiration from an image of a strong woman who manages to stand still inspite of all the daily life’s difficulties and paradoxical syndrommes, who merely wears the change, sets her goals and moves forward confidently on her journey of life. The geometric details and the sharp edges of the pieces reflect the bold attitude of her and cosmopolitan identity the collection.
Dilek Kaygusuz’s collection, “Equilibrium” has pieces which are wearable at daytime as well as at special occasions and nights. The colors black/white/blue represent the stages of the inner journey to the state of equilibrium.
