"I chose to design bridal gowns and dresses for the unique bride because I want to showcase that the regular white dress, layers of organza and flowers aren't the only options for brides. Today's bride is different; from her age at the time of marriage, if this is her first marriage, lifestyle, even sexual orientation. Because she is out of the box, I create my collection to be out of the box for her as well. I love little details like exposed metal zippers, cutouts and amazing beading... these things set the bride apart from the flock. I am also drawn to vintage elements like full skirts, lace and overlays, and period design such as Ancient Rome, one of my favorite times in fashion. I love to do custom designed gowns as well; I enjoy helping a bride come up with different unique ideas and then making those ideas come to life...in fabric and thread."

The DanielleCicero Bridal and Special Occasions line was created in 2007. The 30 year old designer, is a wife, mother and entrepreneur and caters to the unique and sometimes off beat bride who craves a ceremony that fits who she is. Danielle has been designing since age 9 and in the fashion industry (having held positions with licensees of Bill Blass and A.B.S Allen Schwartz in New York City) for over 10 years.

Using gorgeous fabrics and color combinations such as Vintage Peach organza, or a gown made in silk gold shimmer georgette, or intricate details like hand beading and draping and ruching, Danielle crafts beautiful statement making gowns for her customers.

A graduate of Brooks College in Long Beach, CA, Danielle has also been honored for giving back to the community by being the recipient of the 2011 Hartford Arts and Heritage grant and award for Artists giving back in her hometown of Hartford, CT.. Danielle taught a class for underprivileged inner-city youth, combining her love of art and fashion. She also showcased at Africa Fashion Week in NYC in the summer of 2011 and was named one of the best designers present.

Danielle relocated to Cairo, Egypt in 2011, and has opened her Fashion Atelier for private clientele. She hopes to branch out into the largely untapped by Western Designers Middle Eastern Bridal market, while still creating her signature collection for US/UK clientele.
