Loosely translated as my life's destiny, آقدار عمري, is the inspiration behind this collaboration that emanates from imagining a modern Arab traveler who sets out on an odyssey throughout the Middle East, Europe and North America. His expeditions echo the journeys undertaken by his ancestors at the turn of the 13th century - the height of discovery and wandering. He returns a most educated traveler; having gained knowledge in the fusion of cultures, and a deep understanding of the intricacies of fabric making.
