The character I created for this collection shows a futuristic anxiety, the chaotic emotions women are going through whilst the known world is falling apart. They do not give up elegance to disappear, picture Carrie Bradshaw wearing a slip dress in the year 2666. The aesthetic I aim to follow is post-apocalyptic but celebrated with a glass of martini. The woman I dress comes full circle in her time of hardship, she becomes the divine archetype of a scorpion goddess: In this new time, a scorpion becomes a symbol of a woman’s empowerment and her sacred animal.
