This collection was inspired by The Queen’s Gambit, a novel written by Walter Travis.

It was triggered by the idea that generations of women had tackled impossible challenges before.

Manual techniques like traditional female practices often passed down from mothers to daughters, were incorporated.

Just like my grandmother passed to my mother and my mother to me. 

The collection is a portrayal of loss, addiction, loneliness, and control.
