Spring-Summer 2016 is inspired by Martha Romme’s fanciful series of fashion fantasy depicting lavish, billowing couture creations hand-finished with silver inking. The titles are witty French word-plays, reflecting the gentle teasing free-spirit in an idealization of the times. ‘Les Douze Mois de l’Anné’, which means ‘The 12 Months of the Year’, were published in 1919.
