Selva Negra aims to be a bridge between women. On one side those of the
matriarchal Kuna and Emberá communities from Colombia. On the other,
strong and independent women living in cities like New York, Barcelona, and
Amsterdam. While offering the craftswomen economic opportunities and an
outlet for their creations, the collection expands the cultural horizon of the
modern urban female.
