Energy Efficiency

This collection draws from the concept of energy-efficiency: the need for buildings in a Northern climate to insulate against natural elements to prevent loss of heat. It is inspired by aesthetics of construction materials, as well as Rachel Whiteread’s concrete sculptures, concepts and light. Garments from silk, wool, and recycled fabrics are produced with artisanal and experimental methods, using knits, crochets, embroideries, and deconstruction.
