My graduate collection is an exploration of how the generations before us have left their mark on us today. I wanted to explore how we can be inspired by the past, instead of rejecting it in a constant search for the new and unexpected. By using old photographs of my family, i looked into the differences and similarities of different generations. Each outfit in the collection is therefore based on my ancestors personality and odd little characteristics as well as photos showing their original style.
