Inspired by Sufism and Elif Shafak's book of "forty rules of love". I was very much inspired by the love and spirituality aspects of Sufism in general and this book in particular. Thus, this collection came with colours inspired by different sufi sects of the world such as Naqshbandi, Rifae and Mevlevi. This patterns were inspired by sufi use of arabic scriptures and talismans. The Calligraphy resembles Rumi poetry in Arabic Kufi Square pattern. Fabrics are printed from scratch. And the silhouettes are also from the sufi tradition and also resemble turbans.
