The collection is a result of the artist's intimate encounters with her hometown and its inhabitants upon returning after six years abroad. The conflicting emotions she experienced from her social interactions in Tehran inspired her to create a pattern, coincidentally resembling a vertical map of the city. Upon closer examination, parts of the map formed silhouettes resembling a large gun. This blending approach consistently produced the same outcome, leading her to name the collection "The City."
